PROJECTION SUSPENDED TYPE PIVOT HINGE DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable the lower end and upper end of a door to be adjusted in the door width direction and door thickness direction by setting dour adjusting screws outside of the door. SOLUTION: By loosening a male screw 24c and nut 24d of a lower pivot shaft bearing 24 and pivoting end parts near the door opening and closing sides of a lower movably plate 22 and lower swingable plate 23 to the parts near the door opening and closing sides of an enlargement 21b of the lower pivot base 21, and by moving the plates 22, 23 in the door width direction relative to the base 21 through the rotating of a first lower adjusting screw 26, the bearing 24 of the lower pivot bearing device 20 is moved for adjustment in the door width direction via an engagement of it with the plate 22. Also, through the rotating of a second lower adjusting screw 27, by moving the plate 23 in the door thickness direction relative to the plate 22, the bearing 24 is shiftably adjusted in the door thickness direction via an engagement of it with the plate 24. In the same manner, by a first upper adjusting screw 46, the upper pivot shaft bearing 44 is moved for adjusting in the door width direction, and by a second upper adjusting screw 47, the bearing 44 is moved for adjustment in the door thickness direction.
