Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To meet an output at the time of starting in response to the degree of an accident by providing a common connecting piece in separate two combustion chamber units, and providing each combustion chamber unit with an igniter provided with a filter. SOLUTION: Each combustion chamber unit 10 or 20 are separately and previously assembled, and at the time of final assembling, they are housed in a common filter case 2 in the condition that they are separated by a common connecting piece 3. The connecting piece 3 has a circular notch 7 in the periphery thereof for positioning of the connecting piece 3 in the filter case 2. After pushing the combustion chamber units 10, 20 and the connecting piece 3 into the filter case 2, a fold 7' is formed in an appropriate position by a roller, and this fold 7' is fitted in the circular notch 7 of the connecting piece 3. Excellent heat conduction is secured between the filter case 2 and the connecting piece 3 by the connection part, which is formed of the fold 7' and the notch 7. An open end of the tubular filter case 2 is bent so as to form a bent edge 8, and assembly parts of a gas generator 1 are collected by this bent edge 8.
