Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas cutout gear which automatically cuts off gas when water is penetrated in a gas supply line. SOLUTION: A gas cutout gear 1 is formed by equipping with a tubular main body 2 whose both ends are made to serve as connecting openings 3, 4 to a piping forming a gas supply line and center part is downwardly curved in U-shaped so as to be made to serve as a reservoir 5 for holding water led to flow into through the piping, and a drainage outlet 6 and a relief valve 7 which are communicated with the bottom part of the reservoir 5. The reservoir 5 is formed in a manner that its U-shaped channel is shut off when water is held at a constant water level or more. Therefore, gas can be urgently cut off by utilizing the penetrated water, and water is prevented from being led to flow into the piping beyond the gas cutout gear 1.
