Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly repeat the same operation. SOLUTION: A fuel pump is provided with a housing, a rod 203, and a rod moving means. The housing is provided with a high-pressure fuel chamber 115, a fuel outlet valve 271, which is communicated with the high-pressure fuel chamber and which prevents the flow-in of the fuel and which allows the flow-out of the fuel when the fuel pressure exceeds the predetermined level, a fuel inlet valve 261, which is communicated with the high-pressure fuel chamber and which prevents the flow-out of the fuel and allows the flow-in of the fuel, and a bearing bore 127 extended from the high-pressure fuel chamber. The rod is supported freely to be slid inside of the bearing bore and freely to be supported air-tightly and freely to be moved to a retreatment position. The rod moving means, which is arranged in the housing so as to move a rod, moves the rod in the direction directed form the retreatment position to the high-pressure fuel chamber through a first stroke length without receiving the resistance, and thereafter, moves the rod through the next stroke for raising the pressure of the fuel inside of the high-pressure fuel chamber. |
