Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a liquid pharmaceutical preparation of an antithrombin-III, stable in long-term preservation, hardly causing a reduction in blood pressure or cardiopathy even when administered and simply administrable. SOLUTION: This liquid pharmaceutical preparation of an antithrombin-III (hereinafter abbreviated to AT-III) comprises 10-500 units/ml, preferably 25-100 units/ml AT-III and 0.5-3wt./vol.%, preferably 1-1.5wt./vol.% gluconic acid or its salt therein. The liquid pharmaceutical preparation is obtained by further suitably blending a sugar (e.g saccharose) and a surfactant or an organic acid other than the gluconic acid (e.g. citric acid) as an auxiliary stabilizer or a sugar sulfate (e.g. a heparin) and an isotonizing agent, a preservative germicide, a chelating agent, a viscous agent, etc., and regulating the pH to 7-10. The pharmaceutical preparation is useful for a treating thrombogenic tendency caused by congenital AT-III deficiency and disseminated intravascular coagulation syndrome accompanied by a reduction in the AT-III. The daily dose thereof is 1,000-3,000 units (or 20-60 units/kg) and further 40-60 units/kg at a time when used as an emergency treatment such as obstetric or surgical treatment. |
