BALLAST-LIKE CURED BODY

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a cured body having a feeling of an earth by mixing a starting material containing at least one kind among slaked lime, quicklime and cement, and clay, granulating the mixture, aging the granulated mixture and curing the aged material. SOLUTION: Starting materials are blended so that clay selected among tuff loam, loess, black soil, loam layer, etc., may amount to about 5-75wt.%, more than one kind among slaked lime, calcium oxide and cement may be about 5-40wt.%, blast furnace granulated slag may amount to about 0-70wt.% and siliceous starting material such as silica stone and silica fume may amount to about 0-60wt.%. Then after kneading 100 pts.wt. starting material and about 15-30 pts.wt. water with a mixer, the material is formed in block-like, bar-like, etc., with an extruder, the material is crushed or cut in an order of 10-50mm, then after aging the material, the material is sifted to obtain a ballast shape cured body having a prescribed grain size.
