TAPE MEASURE CAPABLE OF MARKING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the work with a tape measure fast and to prevent risk of shifting or sudden returning of a tape without necessity to release the hand pressing the tape when a length is measured and marking is made by providing a click for marking and a fixing base in a tape measure main body. SOLUTION: A base 2 for attaching a claw 3 to a tape measure main body 1 is provided. Preferably, this base 2 is provided to be detached in order to deal with various material by preparing a base in which a material for the click 3 is changed. The main body 1 and the base 2 may be made integral with each other so as to be able to treat any material by changing a material of the claw 3. The tip of the base is brought to one end of a object to be measured to match with each other, the main body 1 is pulled to the other end and the scale of a pulled out coil-like measure 4 is read. Then, since it is enough the claw 3 together with the entire main body 1 is only rubbed on the object to be measured like in the case of lighting matches is order to mark the read scale, marking is performed without releasing the hand from the tip.
