(n = 0-5) by X; R3 = H or 1-4C alkyl; X = H, F, Cl, Br, I, OH, OR3, NH2, NO2, CN, NHR3, N(R3)2, SH, SR3, -O-CO-R3, -CO-R3, CHO or COOR3. Cpds. (I) are new where Y = e.g. (b)-(i) or a gp. (t) in which C' = COOMe or CH2COMe.
