PRODUCTION OF CARBAZATE COMPOUND

Production of alkyl carbazates of formula R OCONHNH2 (I) comprises reacting alkyl carbazates of formula R OCONHNH2 (II) with alcohols of formula R OH (III) in the presence of a catalyst. R = 2-20C alkyl, 3-6C cycloalkyl or 6-12C aryl (all optionally substituted); and R = 1-4C alkyl.
