Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cosmetic formulation which contains a hexosyl glyceride and/or (hexosyl)hexosylglyceride and increases skin moisture. SOLUTION: This formulation contains effective amounts of (A) a hexosylglyceride (preferably the base hexose is selected from aldo-hexose and/or (B) a (hexosyl)hexosylglyceride (preferably the base (hexosyl)hexose is a pyrasnosylpyranose and furanosylpyranose bearing 1,4-glycoside or 1,6-glycoside bonds. The amount of glycosylglyceride is 0.001-10wt.%, particularly 0.01-6wt.% based on the whole weight of the formulation. The particularly desired hexosylglyceride is (2-0-β-D-glucopyranosyl)-sn-glycerol.
