Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To support an electric wire to resist against relative angular moment occurred between the wire and a cutting device at the time of cutting operation and keep the blade square to the wire. SOLUTION: A hydraulic cutter 2 cuts an electric wire W by holding the wire W between a stationary blade 5 and a movable blade 6 in the lower part and the passing action of the stationary blade 5 and the movable blade 6 in the vertical direction. The hydraulic cutter 2 is fixed to a supporting frame 3 in order to stabilize it on the ground. A supporting roller 4 is fixed to the supporting frame 3 by positioning it on the side of the stationary blade 5 in the axial direction of the wire W arranged at the time of cutting work. The wire W is taken on in the axial direction in a freely rollable manner by the supporting roller 4 and blades 5, 6 are kept square to the wire W resisting against relative angular moment on the stationary blade 5 side applied to the wire W at the time of cutting operation.
