SHAPE STEEL BEAM GRASPING DEVICE

PURPOSE: To provide a shape steel beam grasping device having a little possibility that a shape steel beam is dropped, by decreasing the lateral movement of the shape steel beam in grasping and reliably grasping it even if the shape steel beam interferes an obstacle. CONSTITUTION: A grasping body 75 to be supported to an opening and closing arm is constituted of a central grasping body 76 provided with a pair of grasping pawls 76c, 76c to be energized by plate springs 76b and each of which has a step-like difference in which the dimension from a drasping body connecting pin P7 is increased toward the tip, and end grasping bodies 77, 77 provided on both sides of this central grasping body 76 and in which the distance between grasping plates 77b, 77b and the facing grasping plates is decreased by the movement in such a direction as the be separated from the central grasping body 76. Therefore, a shape steel beam is grasped by the end grasping bodies 77, 77 whose pinching force is to be increased by the lateral movement, and it is supported by facing grasping surface 76d, 76d of the facing differences of a pair of grasping pawls 76c, 76c of the central gripping body 76, and therefore, the lateral movement of the shape steel beam in gripping is decreased, and the possibility that the shape steel beam is to be dropped is decreased.
