CUTTING METHOD FOR OIL FILTER CASE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively cut an oil filter case by positively rotating an oil filter and pressing a cutter, which is formed into a blade with only the peripheral end of a disk ground into an inclined surface, on the upper surface side of the peripheral end so as to cut the filter case. SOLUTION: An oil filter 13 is placed on three sheet plates 12 of the tip part on the center side of a circular table 1, and each cylinder 10 is operated to clamp it from three positions at which the circumference is divided into three equal parts and to align with the circular table 1 by a clamper 9. To a cutter frame 16 fixed to a body 4 on the horizontal surface above the clamper 9, a disk like cutter 20 is kept horizontally, freely rotatably and freely horizontally movably fitted by a guide frame 7, a backward slide part 18 and a cutter fitting arm 19. The cutter 20 is formed of a blade 21 by grinding a disk only on the upper surface side of the peripheral end to make an inclined surface. The cutter 20 is pressed against the outer peripheral surface of the filter 13 to perform cutting.
