OPERATION CONTROL METHOD AND DEVICE FOR STEAM STERILIZING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniformly keep a sterilization chamber at the sterilization temperature and apply sure sterilization with no sterilization irregularity by controlling the steam feed quantity in response to the temperature in the sterilization chamber when the heat sterilization steam is fed to the sterilization chamber and in response to the temperature in a steam jacket otherwise. SOLUTION: Steam is continuously fed to a steam jacket 2 from the first preparation process to the last dry process in all operation processes. The steam feed quantity, i.e., the opening/closing of the first steam valve 3, is controlled based on the temperature detection signals from the first and second temperature sensors 9, 10. In the sterilization process for feeding the heat sterilization steam to a sterilization chamber 1, the opening/closing of the first steam valve 3 is controlled based on the temperature detection signal from the first temperature sensor 9. In the processes other than the sterilization process, the opening/closing of the first steam valve 3 is controlled based on the temperature detection signal from the second temperature sensor 10. Practically, the first steam valve 3 is closed when the detected temperature is higher than a set value, and the first steam valve 3 is opened when the detected temperature is lower than the set value.
