Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a silicon disk as a storage device, which uses a storage medium such as a flash memory whose frequency of writing is limited instead of a hard disk, from being accessed by a computer system which uses the silicon disk at a frequency exceeding a specific limit. SOLUTION: An access monitor driver 5 is provided between an application 4 and a disk BIOS(basic input/output system) 3 and the application 4 initiates an interruption to the access monitor driver 5 replacing the BIOS 3, so that the driver 5 writes the silicon disk 2 through the BIOS 3. At this time, the access monitor driver 5 records the frequency of writing in itself and generates an alarm when the frequency exceeds the specific limit.
