Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: To improve the pot life of a coating soln., to eliminate the generation of a flaw such as coating irregularity or cracking on an ink receiving layer and to improve ink absorbability by constituting the ink receiving layer provided on the surface of a support of a plurality of specific substances mixed in a specific ratio. CONSTITUTION: The ink receiving layer provided on the surface of a support consists of an inorg. sol (1), polyvinyl alcohol (2) with an average polymerization degree of 500 or more and a boric ester reaction product (3) obtained by reacting one or more kind of polyhydric alcohol with boric acid or boric triester of lower alcohol. The mixing amt. of the components (2), (3) is 1-50% by wt. of the inorg. sol and the mixing ratio of the components (2), (3) is 99.95-90:0.05-10.
