Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the efficiency of the head lamp due to the loss of visible light and to facilitate the manufacture and reduce the cost by providing a coating on a translucent element for deflecting reflected light from a reflector, and for eliminating respective infrared filter. SOLUTION: The light emitted from the light source forms a predetermined light bundle after reflected by the reflector 10, a lens 16 is disposed as a translucent element for deflecting light, the light emitting opening being covered by a translucent cover plate 22. A coating 26 is applied to the flat side of the lens 16 for forming so as to reflect infrared light which heats the cover plate 22. By applying the coating 26 directly on the lens 16, the additional loss of visible light produced by the respective infrared filter will be eliminated, and the distance between the lens 16 and the cover plate 22 may be shrunk so that a head lamp may easily produced with a compact structure.
