PHOTOSENSITIVE RESIN PRINTING PLATE MATERIAL FOR GIVING MATRIX AND ITS PRODUCTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a tough resin printing plate material excellent in image reproducibility, not causing the cracking of a relief even at high temp. and giving a large number of matrices by using a photosensitive resin layer consisting of plural layers stuck to each other. SOLUTION: This photosensitive resin printing plate material has a photosensitive resin layer consisting of two layers stuck to each other and having a multilayered structure obtd. by sticking a layer (lower layer) on the substrate side and a layer (upper layer) on the top side to each other. The thicknesses of the upper and lower layers before sticking may be equal but a thicker lower layer is favorable for sticking and advantageous to the adhesion of the two layers. The base resin of a photosensitive resin compsn. used for the photosensitive resin layer is, e.g. polyamide, partially saponified polyvinyl acetate, natural rubber, silicone rubber or polyurethane generally used for a photosensitive resin.
