METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR EXTRUSION MOLDING OF SYNTHETIC RESIN

PURPOSE: To obtain a method and apparatus for continuously extrusion molding a synthetic resin onto a metal plate having a series of molding units which moves intermittently. CONSTITUTION: The number of revolution of the driving motor 18 of an extruder 8 is interlocked with the actuation and stop of the driving motor 5 of a metal plate feeder 2 to make control possible, and an insertion member 14 which can move to make the resin passage 11 of an extrusion mold 9 attached to the extruder 8 communicate with a discharge hole 12 or an extrusion opening 10 is formed in the mold 9. The necessary and, minimum amount of synthetic resin is supplied from the extruder 8 to the mold 9 when the driving motor 5 of the feeder 2 is stopped and discharged from the discharge hole 12 of the mold 9. When the driving motor 5 of the feeder 2 is operated, an enough amount of the resin to obtain a prescribed resin form is supplied from the extruder 8 to the mold 9 and extruder from the opening 10 of the mold 9.
