GRIPPER HEAD FOR TACK-IN DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce defective tack-in cases by providing a hooking part of such a type as to only allow wefts to be intruded on at least one party of the upper and lower edge lines drawing up the weft catch area for a gripper head. SOLUTION: In this gripper head for a tack-in device, a nearly circular weft catch area 5 opened backward is provided with an inlet hole 3 for weft- catching air, and hooking parts 7, 9 are also provided on the upper and lower edge lines of the rear opening of the weft catch area 5, thus preventing wefts caught once from being detached.
