HAIR CONDITIONING AGENT COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hair conditioning agent composition high in safety and excellent in a finishing feeling, comprising a monoglyceride type anionic surfactant and a cationic surfactant. SOLUTION: This hair conditioning agent composition comprises one or more of monoglyceride type anionic surfactants of formula I (R1 is a 8-20C alkyl or alkylphenyl; X is a functional group to bring about an OSO3 Y, an OPO3 Y or an O2 PO2 Y; Y is H, an alkaline (earth) metal, ammonium, etc.) and one or more of cationic surfactants of formula II (R2 is a 14-22C alkyl or benzyl; R3 is methyl or a 14-22C alkyl; R4 and R5 are each a 1-3C alkyl or hydroxyalkyl; X is a halogen, methyl sulfate or ethyl sulfate residue). The blending ratio of the compound of formula I to the compound of formula II is 5:4 to 10:1 by weight. The total amount of both compounds blended is 0.1-8wt.% based on the whole amount. The composition is high in safety to scalp and skin, suppresses static electricity of hair when it is dry and can provide a smooth concentrating feeling and a moist finishing feeling free from stickiness.
