PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform cooling operation by a rear seat side air conditioner unit even if a front seat side air conditioner unit is turned off by cool operating the front seat side air conditioner unit at a small capacity at which a front seat side occupant cannot notice the operation when only a rear seat side air conditioner unit is cool operated. SOLUTION: Even if an air conditioner unit 1A on the front seat side is turned off, it is cool-operated at a small capacity when an air conditioner unit 1B on the rear seat side is turned on. Namely, when the atmospheric temperature is 0 deg.C or below, both a compressor 1 and a blower 7 are turned off. On the other hand, when the atmospheric temperature is more than 0 deg.C, a target air conditioning temperature by the air conditioner unit 1A on the front seat side is set at the same temperature as a current room temperature. Then a motor actuator 12A of mode doors 11a and 11b is controlled so as to set the blowing mode of a front seat side blowing port 11 to FOOT mode and, based on the target temperature, the motor actuator 10 of a mixed door 9a is controlled. In addition, the blower 7 is driven intermittently so as to on-off control the compressor 1 by an electronic thermo 8.
