BALLOON CATHETER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a balloon from difficulty of insertion caused by coming loose and to prevent skin at an inserted part and a balloon from being damaged for a catheter to be inserted by designing a wrapping sheath in such a manner that it can be inserted into a blood vessel with a covered balloon/as it is. SOLUTION: This balloon catheter 1 covered with a wrapping sheath 11 is guided into a skin 31 and blood vessel 33 along a guide wire 35. As the end of the wrapping sheath 11 is designed so that it is not curled, the wrapping sheath 11 is not caught by the skin 31, etc. When a balloon 5 is inserted to a sufficient length where the balloon 5 is easily inserted into the blood vessel 33 and the wrapping sheath 11 is gripped by a hand and pulled toward an operator, only the wrapping sheath 11 can be pulled out of the body because the wrapping sheath 11 is projected from the skin 31 to a sufficient length where the wrapping sheath 11 is easily pulled out. The balloon 5 is guided to a target part along the wire 35, and an aid to blood pressure, etc., can be performed.
