Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow even a thin baggage to intercept a light beam of a light sensor by forming a protrusion near the center of a bottom plate extending in the linear direction at a specified angle to the direction of light runs of the light sensor and with the tip thereof not flat so as not to injecept the running light. SOLUTION: A protrusion 10 is formed extending in the linear direction at an angle of 45 deg.-135 deg. to the direction of the light 20 passes of a light sensor at the center of a bottom plate 6. In design, the height of the protrusion 10 is so set as not to intercept the passing light beam 20 of the light sensor and with an inverted V shaped cross section, the protrusion 10 extends continuously in the linear direction. When a letter 30 is placed in a locker box, with the tip of the protrusion 10 not flat, the letter 30 is not kept horizontal and is tilted to the right or left so that the bottom side of the letter 30 can be maintained at an inclined attitude contacting the bottom plate 6 thereof. As the letter 30 is at the inclined attitude, a part near the top side of the letter 30 intercepts the light beam 20 of the sensor accurately. This allows the housing of even a thin baggage or the like in the apparatus with the protrusion 10 at the inclined attitude thereby detecting it accurately with the light sensor. |
