Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To uniformly impart sliced fish with a specified amount of salt at low cost in high productivity. SOLUTION: This salt sprinkling device bears a salt feed hopper designed to allow specified amounts of common salt to drop at specified time intervals via slits through the revolution of a screw set up rotatably, as if large snowflakes fall, onto a food being in conveyance by a conveyor device. The salt feed hopper has a semicylindrical bottom provided with the slits circumferentially at appropriate intervals and is mounted with the screw for salt sprinkling at specified amounts rotatably so as to revolve along the peripheral, edge of the bottom. The salt feed hopper may be further combined with the conveyor device consisting of a net conveyor, and a sprinkled salt-receiving hopper for receiving the salt passed through the net of the net conveyor and a salt feed spiral screw extended from the bottom of the sprinkled salt-receiving hopper to the feed port of the salt feed hopper. This salt sprinkling device is useful for fish-and-shellfish (pref. sliced fish) and intended to use wet common salt.
