MAIL BOX AUTOMATIC REGISTRATION DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the time for revising a mail box number and to prevent mis-setting of a mail box number by revising automatically a mail box number without operation by a manager. SOLUTION: An extension number management section 11 of a PBX 1 manages an extension number and an identifier to register its extension to a voice mail 2, all extensions and identifiers are sent to the voice mail 2 via a transmission reception section 12 at re-start processing of the PBX 1 and at request of the extensions and identifiers from the voice mail 2. A mail box management section 21 of the voice mail 2 registers or deletes the extensions and identifiers received via a transmission reception section 22 to/from the mail box. Furthermore, the mail box management section 21 extracts a mail box corresponding to the extension number not sent from the PBX 1 and deletes it.
