OPTICAL RECORDING MEDIUM, OPTICAL RECORD REGENERATING DEVICE AND OPTICAL RECORD REGENERATING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide such an optical recording medium as being capable of multirecording and its regeneration with a single optical head, an optical record regenerating device and an optical record regenerating method. SOLUTION: An optical recording medium is a photochromic material which has absorption wavelengths changed with structural change due to light absorption to read or write optical records on an optical disc medium 43 containing recording layers 45, 46 of the photochromic material with respective one absorption wavelengths being equal and the other absorption wavelengths changed with structural change being mutually different. It has a laser with the wavelength being one absorption wavelength and contains an optical head 41 with tracking function and focusing function and a preceding light source 42 to precedingly radiate light with the other absorption wavelength.
