SOLUTION: A carbon steel or a low alloy steel as a base material is clad with an austenitic stainless steel to obtain an austenitic stainless clad steel plate. At this time, this austenitic stainless steel has a compsn. contg., by weight, =1.25, furthermore contg., at need, one or more kinds among 0.002 to 0.006% B, 0.002 to 0.0065% Ca and 0.010 to 0.1% Al, and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities.
