Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce an austenitic stainless clad steel plate small in damage to a base material and excellent in corrosion resistance by cladding a base material such as a carbon steel with a steel having a specified compsn. composed of C, Si, Mn, Ni, Cr, Mo, Cu, N and Fe. SOLUTION: A carbon steel or a low alloy steel as a base material is clad with an austenitic stainless steel to obtain an austenitic stainless clad steel plate. At this time, this austenitic stainless steel has a compsn. contg., by weight, =1.25, furthermore contg., at need, one or more kinds among 0.002 to 0.006% B, 0.002 to 0.0065% Ca and 0.010 to 0.1% Al, and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities.
