ZOOM ELECTRONIC CAMERA

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a designated zoom image with a reproduction edit device by recording digitally image information stored in a frame memory and recording simultaneously information regarding zoom magnification onto a recording medium. SOLUTION: A liquid crystal zoom frame 8a of a finder 8 is decided by deciding a zoom magnification of a zoom controller 9 and trimming information of a memory trimming circuit 11 is decided. The memory trimming circuit 11 obtains the trimming information relating to the zoom magnification decided by the zoom controller 9 and the trimming information is stored in a frame memory 7. Then a RAM 16 is mounted removably to the main body and entire image information by one pattern in the frame memory 7 is written in the RAM 16 and the trimming information is written by the memory trimming circuit 11. Then a reproduction edit device 17 uses the trimming information to record again part of the image information.
