OPTICAL DISK AND LENS ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY FOR OPTICAL DISK

PURPOSE: To make the servo characteristic of a lens actuator assembly stable by providing a balancer for adjusting the gravity center to the side opposite to an objective lens with respect to a shaft so as to make the direction of deviation of the gravity center of a lens actuator assembly constant. CONSTITUTION: A lens holder 64 of a lens actuator assembly 30 has a throughhole 65 to which a shaft is inserted. An objective lens 32 and an EPC sheet 70 having a wire for driving are adhered to the lens holder 64, and the EPC sheet 70 is connected to a focusing coil 66 and a couple of tracking coils 68. Furthermore, a balancer 72 for adjusting the gravity center is adhered to the lens holder 64 on the same side of the EPC sheet 70 through adhesion or the like. Thus, since the deviation of the gravity center is made constant and a direction of deflection after seeking is made constant, the direction of a control current is made constant thereby making the servo characteristic stable.
