3,5-SUBSTITUTED PHENYLTRIAZOLE DERIVATIVE AND INSECTICIDE/ MITICIDE

PURPOSE: To obtain a new triazole derivative useful as an insecticide/miticide capable of exterminating/controlling various harmful pests, esp. aphid and Tetranychidae without affecting crop. CONSTITUTION: This compound is expressed by formula I [R is an alkyl; X is a halogen, alkyl, alkoxyl, alkylthio, NO2 , CN or haloalkyl; (n) is 0-5; Y is X or a haloalkoxyl; (m) is 0-4; A is of formula IV-VIII (R is H, an alkyl or cycloalkyl; (j) and (k) are each 0 or 1), etc.; R is H, an alkyl or of formula IX (Q and Q' are each N or CH ; R is a halogen, NO2 , CN, an alkyl, alkoxyl, alkylthio, alkylsulfonyl, alkylsulfinyl, alkylamino, etc.; (p) is 0-3)], e.g. 5-(4- aminophenyl)-3-(2-chloro-6-fluorophenyl)-1-methyl-1H-1,2,4-tirazole. This compound of formula I is obtained by reaction between a benzohydranoyl chloride derivative of formula II and a benzonitrile derivative of formula III.
