AIR BAG DEVICE FOR FRONT PASSENGER SEAT

PURPOSE: To reduce a radius of gyration of the air bag door tip in the vicinity of front window glass. CONSTITUTION: A strap passing part 24 is fixed to an air bag door 22, and one end part 26A of a strap 26 is wound round it. An installing part 28A of an anchor 28 is fixed to a vehicle front side wall part 16B of an air bag case 16, and an upper part from the installing part 28A of the anchor 28 is extendedly arranged toward the almost vehicle rear upper side along the air bag case 16, and is formed as guide part 28B. A slit 34 is formed in the guide part 28B of the anchor 28. An end part 26B of the strap 26 wound round the slit 34 of the anchor 28 and an end part 26A of the strap 26 wound round the strap passing part 24 are sewn together by being respectively superposed on an intermediate part 26C of the strap 26 between the guide part 28B and the vehicle front side wall part 16B.
