Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: To make a partial discharge detector adaptable to a high voltage equipment of any structure with a simple construction and with high sensitivity. CONSTITUTION: A high voltage conductor 11 is arranged in a link earth container, in which a first earth container 12a and a second earth container 12b both made up of an electroconductive member are formed, being linked through insulation members 13a and 13b to detect a partial discharge generated within the link earth container 12. A resistor 16 is connected between the first and second earth containers 12a and 12b and a voltage value across both ends of the resistor 1 is measured with a measuring device 22.
