Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE: To produce a far IR radiating material having high far IR emissivity by using an Fe-Cr-Ni ternary heat resistant alloy. CONSTITUTION: The surface of an iron-based Fe-Cr-Ni alloy material having 9-76wt.% Ni content is roughened by blasting and an oxidized film layer 5 is formed by high temp. oxidation treatment for a prescribed time in the air at >=1,000 deg.C. The material is then cooled once and subjected to high temp. selective oxidation treatment at >=1,000 deg.C to form an oxidized film protecting layer 7 under the oxidized film layer 5.
