LIQUID CONTAINER

PURPOSE: To enable an cap-closing of a liquid container having a thin wall placed in the inside of a corrugated cardboard case, using a force cap by a method wherein a support stepped part is provided in a position somewhat below the upper edge of the inner peripheral wall of the corrugated cardboard case, a support board having an engaging hole engageable with the engaging face of the outer periphery of a mouth part and its outer periphery is supported on the support stepped part. CONSTITUTION: When a force cap 11 is placed on the mouth part 5 of the inner thin wall container 3 of a corrugated cardboard case 2, and is pressed thereagainst after the container is filled with liquid, since the resulting pressing force exerted on a support board 14 by engagement of the engaging face 9 of the mouth part 5 with the support board 14 is supported on the corrugated cardboard case 2 via a support stepped part 13, the engaging outer peripheral edge of the cap 11 is forced into engagement with the engaging face 9 by the support force resisting to the pressing force of the cap 11, whereby the container can be closed with the cap 11. Therefore, although a liquid container 1 has the thin wall container 3 placed on the inside of the corrugated cardboard case 2, it can be closed with the force cap 11 and can be filled with liquid by using the conventional filling equipment as it is.
