Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: To obtain a sheet folding apparatus in which a sheet wrinkle can be suppressed as much as possible even when the ends are not aligned at a straight line like wide sheets. CONSTITUTION: A sheet fed by an introducing baffle 11 is fed to a latch baffle 15 by a conveying roller 12 and a first folding roller 13, bumped against first and second stoppers 311 , 312 , and further conveyed. As a result, it is buckled to form a loop, folded to first and second folding rollers to be conveyed to fold the sheet. The stoppers 311 and 312 are disposed at symmetrical positions with the ends of the sheet so that the interval therebetween becomes a half or more of the width of the sheet. and hence the sheet is folded from both sides to prevent the sheet from causing wrinkles.
