Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: To obtain a cooling device by which the corrosion of a coupling part, a heat exchanger inside a cooling-water system and an electric apparatus can be suppressed sufficiently. CONSTITUTION: In an ion-exchange resin tower 3 for maintenance of purity, cooling water W which cools an electric apparatus 7 is passed, and the water quality of the cooling watwe W is maintained to be of high purity by means of an ion-exchange resin. Then, ion gathering pipes 20 are installed in cooling- water pipes 4 near insulating tubes 8 for the electric apparatus 7. The insulating pipes 20 are constituted of insulating tube parts 20a and of coupling parts 20b which are installed on both sides of the insulating tube parts 20a, and the electric-field intensity across the coupling parts 20b is made higher than the electric-field intensity acoss coupling parts 9 on both sides of the insulating tubes 8.
