IMAGE FORMING DEVICE

PURPOSE: To readily judge by which one of the function controllers a recording sheet on a tray has been obtained, by making the directions of feed by sheet feed parts different from each other, in the image formation via mutually different function-controllers. CONSTITUTION: The device has at least two functions out of the following three: copy function, facsimile function, and printer function. The function controllers 30, 30a and 30b perform controls for reproducing image information inputted from corresponding image-information-sources which are different from one another, onto a recording sheet as images. A sheet feeder is equipped with a sheet feed part which feeds the recording sheet longitudinally, and a sheet feed part which feeds the recording sheet laterally. The sheet feed control part 39 feeds the recording sheet, for example in the use of the printer function, from the longitudinal-sheet-feed part, and in the use of the facsimile function, from the lateral-sheet-feed part, and a print control part 36 forms images onto the recording paper. Thus, a user can readily judge by which one of the function controllers the recording sheets stacked on the sheet ejection tray have been obtained.
