Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: To simplify a guide unit by triggering the signal sending-out of respective sensor units by the transfer movement of slivers. CONSTITUTION: When a drawing mechanism 7 starts, slivers 2a to 2d are extracted from cans K via the rollers of sensor unit 3a to 3d, the rollers 8a to 8d are rotated by friction, and pulse signals S1 to S4 are generated by sensors 9a to 9d, and are sent to an evaluation unit A. Only when the number of the signals S1 to S4 are within an allowance range, the sending-out thereof is conducted. When the signal S3 is lower than the permissible range based on the termination, cutting, and stain of the slivers 2a, a stop signal is sent to a central control unit 4 so as to stop the drawing mechanism 7, and the slivers 2a to 2d. A display device 11 for the units 3a to 3d is provided in the unit A, and the supply state of pulses is monitored. Thereby, a supply frame 6 which requires no driven supply roller and is simple can be constituted.
