SPRAY NOZZLE PROTECTIVE DEVICE

PURPOSE: To improve the looking at the time of spraying water and avoid the occurrence of clogging or fouling of fountain holes to prevent malfunction even when the water level of a pond or a river rises to the forecasted maximum one. CONSTITUTION: An atomizing part 15 is set at a level higher than a normal water level WL of a water source 2 such as a pond and a river and lower than a predicted maximum water level HWL, and a spray nozzle 14 is installed in the water source 2. The spray nozzle 14 and the atomizing part 15 are covered with a gastight cover 4 forming an air intake port 9 and an opening 10 to position both the air intake port 9 and the opening 10 higher than the normal water level WL and lower than the atomizing part 15. An air reservoir 6 having a sufficient volume to restrain the upper limit water level IWL in the gaslight cover 9 following up the rise in the level of the water source 2 to lower than the atomizing part 15 by residual air pressure in the gastight cover 4 is formed in the upper part of the gastight cover 4.
