CONTAINER GUIDE APPARATUS IN TRANSPORTING CONTAINER CARRIER

PURPOSE: To guide easily accurately a transportion container to a predetermined position in a hold in a transporting container guide apparatus in carrying the transporting container into the hold of a carrier by using four guide pulleys and four winch devices to guide a support frame of the transporting container. CONSTITUTION: When transporting containers 6 are mounted in a hold 2, first, the tip of a cable 15 drawn out through a guide pulley 12 from four winch devices 13 provided on a hatch coaming 4 is connected to brackets 9 provided on four corners of a support frame 8. Next, the container 6 is hung up through the support frame 8 by a crane 5 to be shifted above a hatch 3. For example, every two sets of winch devices 13 are operated to shift the support frame 8 above a locating member 16 provided on the bottom surface of the hold 2, and then the winch devices 13 are operated to draw out the respective cables 15, lower the support frame 8, lower the container 6 into the hold 2 and finally mount the container on a position to which the container is guided by the locating member 16.
