Zusammenfassung: | PURPOSE: To form a microlens in large, quantities at high speed by irradiating the surface of a substrate such as glass absorbing ultraviolet rays with laser beam of an ultraviolet wavelength region to form a semispherical protruding part and using this protruding part as a matrix to form a stamper and molding a transparent material by the stamper to form the microlens. CONSTITUTION: The surface of a substrate 4 composed of a material absorbing ultraviolet rays is irradiated with a spot of ultraviolet rays 2 emitted from an ultraviolet source 1 to be foamed and the irradiation with ultraviolet rays 2 is stopped to form a lens forming part 5 as a protruding part having a lens shape. A stamper 15 is formed to the upper part of the substrate 4 having the protruding part 9 having a lens shape by electroless plating, electroforming or a method using an ultraviolet curable resin and subsequently peeled from the substrate 4. The stamper 15 is used as a matrix to form a microlens array 16 by using an ultraviolet curable resin or an injection molding method and the microlens array 16 is finally peeled from the stamper 15. |
