Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: To prevent peeling of heat insulating layer and sticking of fusion coating material to heat insulating layer. CONSTITUTION: In the coating belt for belt type continuous caster, in which a heat insulating layer and fusion coating layer are formed on a metal mode belt main body, the belt main body consists of a cooling side belt main body 1 and molten steel side belt main body 2, a heat insulating layer 3 is formed between the cooling side belt main body 1 and molten steel side belt main body 2 as closely adhered, further, a fusion coating layer 4 is formed on the surface of molten steel side of molten steel side belt main body 2. Peeling of the heat insulating layer 3 from the cooling side main belt and sticking of a fusion coating material to the heat insulating layer are prevented. As a result, heat extracting by mold is uniformly kept in long term, a thin cast slab is can be produced.
