ANCHOR TYPE GUIDE WIRE

PURPOSE: To eliminate the happening of mispositioning of a front end by operation, such as exchange of a catheter by providing the specific position from the far end of a hollow core wire communicating from the far end to the near end with a jumping part of an original shape flanging to the outer side of a guide wire at the outside diameter larger than the outside diameter of a sleeve. CONSTITUTION: The far end of the core wire 1 of this anchor type guide wire is formed into an L shape and the guide wire has the jumping part 2 of a spiral structure. The guide wire is progressed into the organs of the living body in the state of housing the far end and jumping part 2 of the core wire 1 in the sleeve 3. The jumping part 2 of the core wire 1 is emitted from the sleeve 3 to fix the guide wire to the organ walls of the living body. The core wire 1 has the jumping part 2 of the original shape flanging to the outer side of the guide wire at the outside diameter larger than the outside diameter of the sleeve 3 within 10cm from the far end. The original shape is deformed so as to be housed in the hollow part of the sleeve 3 when the jumping part 2 is held housed in the hollow of the sleeve 3. The jumping part 1 restores the original shape when the jumping part 1 jumps out.
