EQUALIZING PULSE ELIMINATING DEVICE

PURPOSE: To obtain an equalizing pulse eliminating circuit which is excellent in a temperature/thermal characteristic and has high accuracy. CONSTITUTION: When a synchronizing signal A containing an equalizing pulse is inputted in a fall detection circuit 1, the fall detection circuit 1 generates the output pulse B according to an input pulse and transmits a fall detection circuit detection signal C to a time count circuit 2 at the same time. The time count circuit 2 produces the fall detection operation stoppage period G of certain fixed time by the fall detection circuit detection signal C and transmits the period as a fall detection operation control signal to a fall detection circuit 2. In the fall detection circuit 2, a fall detection operation is stopped by a fall detection operation control signal and eliminates the equalizing pulse within this period. When the fall detection operation stoppage period is terminated, the fall detection operation is resumed again and an original synchronizing signal is detected.
