CONSTITUTION:A marketable product 13 of software/work on which a lock/ destruction processing means 12 is provided and a key are sent to the purchased terminal equipment 10 of a user via a communication channel. Purchased software, etc., can be used by unlocking in the terminal equipment 10. When an expiration date arrives, the software or work is automatically locked or destroyed, then, an operation can be stopped. The user receivs a new key or marketable product 6 requesting update to a managing device 20 by a continuous use request processing means 14, and continues the use of the purchased software or work until the next expiration date by unlocking the key by an unlocking/reuse processing means 15. Such operation is continued as far as the software or work is used continuously.
