Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: To obtain a new epoxy acrylate excellent in heat resistance, humidity resistance, solvent solubility, light transmittance and light sensitivity by reacting a specified epoxy compound with a specified unsaturated monocarboxylic acid. CONSTITUTION: An epoxy compoud of formula I (wherein R1 and R2 are each H or a 1-6C hydrocarbon group) is reacted with an unsaturated monocarboxylic acid of formula II (wherein R3 and R4 are each H or a 1-6 C hydrocarbon group) to obtain the objective new epoxy acrylate of formula III (wherein R to R are each as defined above). The produced epoxy acrylate is excellent in heat resistance, humidity resistance, solvet solubility, light transmittance and light sensitivity, and therefore, when used for a photosensitive resin conposition, it can be desirably used as a solder resist, a protective film for electronic components or a protective film for color filters for liquid crystals.
