Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: To save manpower by automatically detecting pitch and roll amount, when such ship's pitch and roll as hindering cargo handling work take place. CONSTITUTION: A ship-width direction reference plate 1 to be laid along the ship's center line, a ship-longitudinal direction reference plate 12 to be laid along the breadthwise direction and the vertical direction reference plate 13 to be laid along the horizontal direction, are respectively fitted to the shell plate 7 of a ship's hull. Also, a ship-width direction distance sensor 15, a ship- longitudinal direction distance sensor 16 and a vertical direction distance sensor 17 are respectively arranged on the wharf side 5. In addition, a distance judgement device is provided for receiving the value of a distance detected by the sensors 15 to 17 for comparison with an allowable distance.
