NEW CEPHEM COMPOUND, ITS PRODUCTION AND ANTIMICROBIAL AGENT

PURPOSE: To obtain a new compound useful as an antimicrobial agent exhibiting excellent antimicrobial potency and treating effect on infectious diseases by bacteria from gram-positive bacteria including staphylococcus to gram-negative bacteria including Pseudomonas aeruginosa. CONSTITUTION: A compound of formula I [R is a (protected amino; R is H, a lower alkoxy, etc.; R is H, a metal, a COOH-protecting group, etc.; R is H, a halogen, vinyl, etc.; A is an alkylene which may contain S; B is a hetero ring; C is formula II (R is H, a lower alkyl, etc.; R is H, a halogen or a lower alkyl; R and R are each H or OH), etc.; (m) and (n) are each 0 or 1; Z is CH or N], e.g. 7β-((z)-2-(2-aminothiazol-4-yl)-2-(2-(5-(pyridin-2-yl)-1,3,4-oxadiazol-2- yl) thio) ethoxyiminoacetamide)-3-(benzothiazol-2-yl) thio-3-cephem-4-carboxylic acid sodium salt. The compound of formula I is obtained by reacting a compound of formula III with a compound of the formula MS-D (D is a hetero ring; M is a negative charge, a metal, etc.).
