PURPOSE: To provide interchangeability in a hopper cassette, in a medium processing device formed by mounting a plurality of the hopper cassettes, having a drive transmitting system of power in a main unit side and having a power receiving gear of receiving power of this drive transmitting system and a pick up roller of delivering a medium stored by power of the power receiving gear, arranged in a draw out direction on a tray which can be drawn out from a main unit. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of hopper cassettes 27 and 28 of the same shape are arranged to be displaced in a vertical direction by a tray 29 provided with a step difference, to set up drive transmitting systems 30a and 30b, corresponding to the hopper cassettes 27 and 28, displaced in a vertical direction so as to prevent interfering when drawn out these hopper cassettes 27 and 28, and media 4 and 5, delivered from the hopper cassettes 27 and 28, can be fed to a linear conveying path.
